The Big Salad


One of the most common questions I get is "what should I eat?" As I tell my clients, to lose body fat, you need to create a Calorie deficit, keep insulin levels low (by cutting out sugar and limiting total carbohydrate intake), and feed your muscles the fats, protein and nutrients they need. The "Big Salad" is a convenient way of doing that. Here is my Sauteed Salmon Salad.



It includes:
Salmon (minced and sauteed)
Greens- Mache, Frisee, Radicchio(from grocery in a container)
Grape Tomatoes
Feta Cheese
Walnuts
Olive Oil
Balsamic Vinegar
Oregano
Basil
Salt
Black Pepper

Umm, umm delicious!

I like to use canned tuna (packed in water). I keeps on the shelf and is easy to add to a salad. i also sometimes add hard boiled eggs.
