Interval Run



The weather is perfect for running outside. So, for this interval run, if you can, take it outside.



Warm-up: 10:00 of mobility exercises, walking, jogging skippping and running.



Format: repeated intervals



Run Interval: 0.25 miles (at 1.1-1.2 times your mile pace) x 6



Rest Interval: 1:30 of slow walking

Did run today after being sick for a few days. Can't say it was my most enjoyable run, but at least I got it done. 1.87miles; 17:35min.; set at 9.5 on treadmill.

Okay tried run after workout. Got to half way through the 5th rep. before Knee said that is enough. I was going 6.2-6.6 mph. Not sure of time, but think it was 15min. roughly and 1.42miles....not sure on that. Will try again later this week.

Okay tried this again outside with dog in tow:) Ran for 2:30 mins and walked 1:30 managed to get 2 miles so not sure what speed, but it was a gorgeous morning to run outside.

Okay one more time on tread mill set between 6.2 - 6.6 21.23 minutes and 1.80 miles.

Slar says - 21:04 and 1.88 miles at 7.2 to 7.5 mph.....
