My Hero

"Power is nothing without control."- Chris 'Blane' Rowat , a Parkour enthusiast from the UK states on his blog. I couldn't agree with him more. Parkour is known as 'the art of displacement', or 'free-running'. However you want to describe it, you have to admit it is extremely athletic. It embodies what the human body is capable of performing. Once you check out the video below, you realize how weak, uncoordinated, and detrained most of us are. When you watch this video, you realize that performing crunches, ellipticalling (or whatever it is called when you use the elliptical trainer) or dumbell side raises is pretty much a waste of your time. Improving your performance with various movements is the key to enhancing all aspects of your health, fitness, and body.

Now, I am off to the park to try some of these cool movements.
