Some have requested the recipe for the peanut butter chocolate chip oatmeal (I mentioned in a previous post on eating breakfast).
Ingredients: 1/4 cup of Quick Oats (dry, uncooked)
1 Tablespoon of natural peanut butter
2 Tablespoons of chocolate chips
2 Tablespoons of raisins
1 Tablespoon of honey
Mixing: Place dry oatmeal in a bowl. Add raisins and chocolate chips. Scoop in peanut butter and mix with a spoon and butter knife. Mix all ingredients (may have to cut up clumps of peanut butter). Try to get all of the oatmeal stuck to the peanut butter. Add honey by pouring or squeezing into the bowl. Mix honey in to stick everything together. The consistency of the mixture should be sticky and easily formed into a ball (if you want).
I like to eat with a spoon and a glass of skim milk.
Enjoy!
